If you already have a group of people in mind who would like to go sailing, you can charter a yacht yourselves.
No sailing qualifications or experience are required, as britannia will ensure you have professional skipper onboard with you, who can teach you the basics so you can get involved in the sailing safe in the knowledge that your skipper is keeping an eye on the weather, tides, depth and safety.
Alternatively, if you are an experienced sailor you can charter a yacht bareboat (subject to provision of sailing CV).
You may wish to charter one of our Oceanis 37s or our new Dufour 430 GL and 460 GL (owned by our sister companies Fairview Sailing and Dream Yacht Charter). Comfortable and easy to sail, you and your friends and colleagues can enjoy a relaxing weekend yachting about the Solent – perhaps visiting Cowes for lunch or GunWharf Quays for a more lively evening.
Britannia’s Beneteau First 40 and 40.7s are available for racing charter for most events in the Solent and many Caribbean regattas. So whether you fancy competing amongst thousands of others in a large event like Cowes Week or Round The Island Race, or perhaps testing your endurance in an offshore campaign like the Rolex Fastnet Race, or even competing (and partying) in the Heineken St Maarten regatta in the Caribbean – contact Britannia to find out more.
