BRITANNIA IS PROUD TO BE A LONG-STANDING CHARTER SUPPLIER TO THE ROUND THE ISLAND RACE
The Round the Island race is one of the most popular yacht regattas you can enter. Typically over 1500 yachts line up on Saturday morning to race around the Isle of Wight.
Attracting a wonderful mix of beautiful classics, grand-prix racing yachts, corporate groups and families this popular event allows you race alongside boats of all shapes and sizes.
No prior sailing experience is necessary as our charter packages include a professional racing skipper and first mate and a training day. Choose from our performance First 40 sailing yachts which can accommodate up to 10 guests or our more comfortable Oceanis 37s, which have space for up to seven.
BRITAIN'S FAVOURITE YACHT RACE
Make the most of ‘Britain’s Favourite Yacht Race’ with Britannia’s 3-day package. You and your team will join us on Friday for a training and familiarisation day to ensure you are ready for racing action, Friday evening you will moor up in Cowes on the Isle of Wight to soak up the pre-race atmosphere .
Saturday is race day! The Round The Island Race circumnavigation is about 60NM and usually takes 8-10 hours, so you can expect an early start. After racing, you will join the apres-sail in the Round The Island race village, and Sunday allows your team the opportunity for some leisurely yachting around the Solent
