The Legal Cup 2025
The Legal Cup 2025 will be the 34th staging of this popular two day sailing regatta – and after an absolutely amazing 2024 event, we’re planning an even bigger event in 2025. As the main social, sporting and networking event for lawyers, the Legal Cup has established itself as one of the largest regattas in the country.
Absolutely no previous sailing experience is necessary, as you will be accompanied by our professional skippers at all times whilst on the water. If you are an experienced sailor with your own yacht, you can register for a ‘Private Entry’.
Team entry is available to all legal firms or suppliers to the legal industry. A team consists of 7-10 people who you invite. Some companies bring clients or business partners for a networking opportunity, others bring internal staff as a team building activity.
Whatever your objectives, taking part provides an excellent way to network with, and promote your brand to some of the top-name companies in the legal industry. 90% of teams return each year, demonstrating the value for the teams who take part.

Race Format
To minimise disruption to the working week, the regatta runs Friday evening until Sunday afternoon. Most teams join us on Friday evening to kick-start the social activities.
You and your team, with helpful coaching from your skipper and first mate will enjoy a morning of sail training before competing in a number of races over the two days.
Saturday evening includes networking opportunities and the fabulous gala themed dinner.
At the end of the regatta trophies are awarded for the winners of each group and the overall winner, so there is plenty of opportunity to win some silverware.
