The Taittinger Regatta 2026 returns as one of the most enjoyable and sociable racing weekends in the UK sailing calendar. Hosted by the Royal Solent Yacht Club and proudly sponsored by Taittinger Champagne, this iconic regatta blends competitive keelboat racing with relaxed post-race hospitality in one of the most scenic sailing arenas in Britain.
Set in the stunning Western Solent, this is a weekend defined by close racing, tactical sailing, and a famously friendly atmosphere both on and off the water.
The Taittinger Regatta has built a reputation as a fun yet highly competitive sailing event, attracting corporate teams, sailing enthusiasts, and regular regatta crews alike.
No previous racing experience is required. Every team is supported by a professional skipper and first mate, ensuring a safe, competitive and enjoyable experience for all participants.
Expect tight racing around laid courses set by the Royal Solent Yacht Club, with the tidal conditions of the Western Solent providing a rewarding challenge for all crews.
While the racing is competitive, the Taittinger Regatta is equally known for its relaxed and welcoming social atmosphere.
