Britannia Corporate Events are a specialist provider of team sailing days. Based in Port Hamble Marina on the South Coast of England we are ideally situated on the River Hamble – just minutes from the Solent, the premier sailing area in the UK.
Established since 1998, Britannia own and manage a fleet of high quality race-prepared yachts. These yachts are designed to be sailed by a team which creates a natural team building environment, as the sailing crew communicate and work together to sail the yacht.
As well as single day team building and bespoke sailing days, Britannia also manages and runs several large, prestigious industry regattas. These regattas bring together competitors from within an industry (for example Legal or IT) and provide fantastic in-house team building, client entertainment and cross-company networking opportunities.
Our yachts also race competitively in regattas in the UK and Caribbean. Teams can charter a yacht with skipper to take part, or for those with more experience, contact us for bareboat charter options.

Charlie is the Commercial Director and ensures that we have the best yachts available at the best price for your sailing event.
Events Manager
Sonya is our Events Manager. With over 20 years experience within the Events industry, she brings a ton of pizazz and a whole host of skills to help ensure your Event runs as smoothly as possible.
Head of Maintenance
Ian is our head of maintenance and looks after our fleet of over 30 yachts, ensuring they are up to the high standards that our customers expect.
RYA and Sailing School Manager
Prue coordinates our sister company, Sailing Logic, who provide both RYA courses and race training.
Head of Marketing
Aimee is in charge of all marketing activity for us and our sister companies, Fairview Sailing, Sailing Logic and Dream Yacht Charter UK.
Our office and fleet of yachts are all based in Port Hamble Marina, near the mouth of the River Hamble. Hamble is a picturesque village with lots of dining options and there are numerous hotels of all standards in the region.
Port Hamble Marina is one of the closest marinas to the Solent, so on a sailing day with us you spend less time motoring to the sailing area and more time enjoying the day!
Not only is Port Hamble close to the sailing area, it is easy to reach by car and train.
By Train – regular high-speed trains from Waterloo to Southampton Airport Parkway train station, where taxis are easily available to the marina.
By Car – the marina is just minutes from the M27, with free on-site parking available. (Permits required and included with your booking)
